Supporting Our Local Community
At Shoppe on Langley Park, we believe strong communities are built when people support each other. That belief guides many of our initiatives, like our ongoing support of The Salvation Army Perth City, an organisation that gives essential assistance to individuals and families experiencing hardship across our community.
In 2024 and again in 2025, we donated $5,000 to support local programs delivered by The Salvos. Our support also extends beyond financial donations. Throughout the year, Shoppe on Langley Park works to raise awareness around the work that The Salvos do for the community helping connect more people with support services and generating additional funding. Over the years, we have hosted rock n roll dance fundraisers and donated the proceeds of our charitable, community events. Puppets on the Park was one such event that, helped to raise both awareness and funds for The Salvos local programs with the proceeds from ticket sales going directly to support the Salvos.Â

During the festive season, we invite the community to get involved in our Christmas hamper drive and donate grocery items and toys that are then distributed to families in need through The Salvation Army. In our first year alone, more than 100 hampers were collected and delivered to local families. A testament to the generosity of the East Perth community and the shared belief that everyone deserves support during the holiday season.
Supporting Women and Families
Our commitment also extends to supporting women’s shelters operated by The Salvation Army. On International Women’s Day, we held a morning tea to raise funds to the Salvation Army’s families and domestic violence program. These events not only contribute to much-needed funding but also bring our community together in a meaningful way. Shoppe on Langley Park is proud to support The Salvation Army and the work they do across our community. Through financial contributions, awareness campaigns, fundraising initiatives and community engagement, we remain committed to helping support the programs that make a real difference in people’s lives. Community support is not a one-time effort. It is an ongoing responsibility, and one we are proud to continue.
