Australia Day is right around the corner and this year again promises a wonderful day, filled with family fun, lots of local entertainment and a spectacular light show.

What's Happening at Langley Park this Australia Day?
This Australia Day, Langley Park will be home to an array of vibrant entertainment with fun for all ages and adrenaline levels. The family fun starts at 3:00pm with a kilometre of entertainment and activities stretching the length of Langley Park and finishes with The Hancock Prospecting light show featuring drones and fireworks starting at 8:30 pm giving you a couple of family fun hours on the foreshore of Perth’s magnificent Swan River.
Langley Park is the best vantage point for the light show which will appear directly over the Swan River giving viewers in the park the best view of the show in Perth. Various picnic areas will be open along the foreshore and in the entertainment zone, which will feature amusement rides, BMX and motocross shows, skydivers and activation zones. Additionally, The Supreme Court Gardens will host the annual Birak concert from 3:00 pm-7:30 pm featuring local Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander talent.

How to make the most of Australia Day at Langley Park.
Grab a drink or two from Porter’s Liquor Langley Park
Grab a couple of drinks from Porter’s Liquor and head to the foreshore for a waterfront picnic before you hit the entertainment zone. Porter’s Liquor will be open from 11:00 am- 7:00 pm, serving local craft beer, wine, bubbles and pre-mixed beverages. Remember to bring reusable cups, as the use of glass at large-scale events is often prohibited. Plus, it’s eco-friendly!
Enjoy your Fav Feel Good Mex from Zambrero
Make dinner easy with a couple of burritos, tacos or nachos from Zambrero. This feel-good Mex restaurant will be open from 10:00am – 9:00pm for lunch, dinner, and late-night feeds and is located directly opposite the Langley Park picnic area.
Picnic snacks, gourmet cheeses, sweets and treats from the Foodies Market (IGA)
Foodies Market (IGA) will open from 7:00am – 9:00pm selling all your favourite fresh produce and snacks. Complete your picnic with pre-cut fruit, veggies, a gourmet cheese or charcuterie board and sweet treats for dessert. Remember to load up on the Aussie classics – lamingtons, pies, ANZAC biccies, TimTams and vegemite sandwiches!

Looking for a restroom during the evening? Shoppe on Langley Park is an accessible centre with direct access from Langley Park. The retail precinct is pet friendly and offers baby change facilities and caters for customers with disabilities. The restrooms are located near Porter’s Liquor.
Shoppe on Langley Park’s customer entry is located at 30 Terrace Rd, East Perth. Access from the street level is via the main stairs, escalator or glass lift.
